Four Roses Bourbon Teams Up with Brooklyn Beer

You can attend the launch party of Brooklyn Black Ops Beer on December 9 in Lawrenceburg

Four Roses Bourbon is teaming up with Brooklyn Beer to create a limited-release beer, aged in Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon barrels. You can attend a party to celebrate the launch of Brooklyn Black Ops Beer, hosted by New York-based Brewmaster Garrett Oliver and Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott on Monday, December 9 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.

In addition to hearing the story of the new bourbon/beer partnership from the two masters, the launch party will feature samples of the new beer, appetizers, and live music with The Jeff Blackburn Band.

According to a news release from Four Roses: “This vintage of Brooklyn Black Ops was aged for months in the Four Roses Small Batch barrels and re-fermented with Champagne yeast. The Russian Imperial Stout, with a 12.4% ABV, raises a fluffy dark brown head, and combines big chocolate and coffee notes with a rich underpinning of vanilla-like oak.”
