One of the best things to pair your whiskey with is music.

With that in mind, it’s time for our annual preview of the summer ahead and a few of the concerts and  festivals with a definite hint of whiskey. Here is a summary so you can make your sippin’ and swingin’ plans. 

Jammin’ at Jeptha: Jeptha Creed Distillery – Shelbyville, Kentucky

Jeptha Creed’s summer concert series is coming back to the Shelbyville, Kentucky distillery. The events will feature music, food, games, and craft cocktails at the bar. 

“Jammin’ at Jeptha” will take place on two dates this year: 

Mason Ramsey and Halle Kearns

June 15 , 2024:  5 –10 p.m.

Larceny Bourbon Live Concert Series in Bardstown, Kentucky

The Larceny Live Concert Series happens every other Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. through the first week of September. Concerts are at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience in Bardstown, upstairs in the Five Brothers Bar & Kitchen. They are free to attend, no tickets are needed. Pendleton, Oregon – Saturday, July 13, 2024

The eighth annual Pendleton Whisky Music Fest event in Oregon will feature Thomas Rhett, Dustin Lynch, Jo Dee Messina, Thomas Mac and many others.

Bourbon and Beyond Festival

Louisville, Kentucky – September 19-22, 2024

The four-day Bourbon and Beyond Festival in Louisville will feature lots of music, food, and bourbon activities. Artists include Zach Bryan, Dave Matthews Band, Tyler Childers, Neil Young, and many others. Get information on passes here.

Springhouse Music Series at Castle & Key Distillery

Frankfort, Kentucky

Castle & Key Distillery, just outside Frankfort, is bringing back its Springhouse Music Series on the first Wednesday of each month, through September, beginning June 7.

The events include live music, local food trucks, and drinks at Taylorton Station (outdoor walk-up bar) on the Springhouse Lawn. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and music begins at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday, July 10th – Brother Smith

Wednesday, August 14th – Paul Childers

Wednesday, September 11th – NVRMND

Ticket prices vary by artist and begin at $23 per person.
